As the Web3 industry grows rapidly, deep issues of inclusion remain. Recognizing this, Bitget launched the Blockchain4Her initiative to support women’s entry and growth into the blockchain space. With a $10 million commitment launched in January 2024, Blockchain4Her not only provides educational resources but also opens up opportunities for funding, mentorship, and specific career paths for women in Web3.
A notable step forward is the partnership between Bitget and CryptoGirl, Italy’s leading Web3 community for women. This partnership stems from a deep empathy for the challenges women face when approaching blockchain: the feeling that the field is distant, complex, and difficult to integrate.
Blockchain4Her goes beyond theoretical courses. The program focuses on hands-on experience: from interacting directly with Web3 tools, optimizing LinkedIn profiles according to Web3 standards, to the opportunity to apply for internships at Bitget. In addition, participants will receive a certificate signed by Bitget CEO Gracy Chen – a symbol of the organization’s commitment to supporting women from the highest level.
The unique feature of the course is to create a “safe” and “non-judgmental” environment where women can learn, ask questions, and practice freely. Open Q&A sessions, interactive activities, and mentors who have experienced similar psychological barriers reinforce the belief that everyone can find their place in Web3.
Going beyond education, Blockchain4Her and CryptoGirl also focus on building a long-term development path for participants: networking, receiving personalized mentoring support, and opening up real-world career opportunities. Together, with inspiring leaders and a vast community, they are creating a more diverse, inclusive, and opportunity-filled Web3 ecosystem for women globally.
